Family Counseling

Every family goes through seasons that stretch it — a big transition, a struggling child, conflict that keeps cycling, or a change no one saw coming. Family counseling is a place to slow down, understand what's really going on beneath the surface, and rebuild the way you talk, listen, and show up for each other. Alexia works with the whole family system — parents, kids, and everyone in between — so that change happens together, not on one person's shoulders.

Family Therapy

Address the root issues affecting how your family functions — together, in one room.

Family therapy looks at the family as a system: when one person is struggling, everyone feels it, and lasting change usually needs everyone involved. Sessions give each member a safe, structured place to be heard — and to hear each other — without the conversation collapsing into the same fight.

Together, we identify the patterns that keep showing up (roles, triggers, communication loops), name what each person actually needs, and practice new ways of relating that can hold up outside of the therapy room.

Parenting Support

Practical, compassionate strategies for the season of parenting you're in — from postpartum through the teen years.

Parenting is one of the hardest, most personal jobs there is — and most of us are doing it while running on very little sleep, information overload, and old scripts from our own childhoods. Parenting sessions give you a thoughtful sounding board, not a lecture.

Whether you're a new parent trying to find your footing, co-parenting after separation, or navigating a strong-willed teen, we'll work on the specific challenges in your home while also strengthening the relationship underneath them.

Support for Children & Teens

A safe space for young people to be heard — and for parents to learn how to support them.

Kids and teens often communicate distress through behavior long before they have words for it. In sessions with young people, Alexia meets them where they are — with curiosity, warmth, and age-appropriate tools — while keeping parents informed and involved in the ways that matter most.

Depending on the family, this can look like individual sessions with a child or teen, parent-only sessions, or a mix of both alongside whole-family work.

Blended & Co-Parenting Families

Build a household — and a co-parenting relationship — that works for everyone in it.

Blending families and co-parenting after separation is some of the most complex relational work there is. Loyalties, histories, and different parenting styles all sit in the same room. It's normal for it to be hard — and it's absolutely something you can build skills for.

Together we'll work on realistic expectations, shared agreements between adults, and the kind of communication that protects children from being caught in the middle.
